However, Word is not the central program in Mac, which is available with Text Edit and provides its own adaptation of a word processing program through the iWork. On the other hand, Microsoft Word provides a stylish user interface in its Mac version. Together with the natural style and unique layout of the Mac OS X, Word for Mac is easy to use, thanks also to its adaptable application. In using Microsoft Word for Mac, here some things the steps that you should remember:</p>
<ol>
<li>double-click the Microsoft Word icon to open. A new      document will automatically appear with the title Document 1.</li>
<li>Decide on the layout and size of your Microsoft Word.      Click “File” located on the uppermost navigational menu and choose “Page      setup.” The standard paper size in letter, which is 8.5&#215;11 inches and this      is the automatic size of the paper upon opening the application. If you      want to change the size of your document, click “Paper Size” and click      your preferred size of the document using the drop-down menu. Upon opening      your document, you will notice that it is set in Portrait mode, which      makes the height longer than the width. If you want to change this, head      to the Orientation section and click the icon that displays the width as      longer than the height. This will immediately convert your document’s      orientation to Landscape.</li>
<li>In setting up you document’s workspace, click the      icon menu at located on top of the document and choose the “Toolbox.” A      formatting palette, situated on the right side of the document will then      open. This contains the necessary options tools, like font styles and      sizes, alignment and spacing, borders, bullets, margins, and reference      tools such as dictionaries and thesaurus. If you want to zoom in and      minimize your document, return to the icon menu and choose your desired      size of the document that fits your sight’s visibility.</li>
<li>Decide on how you want your document to become.      Microsoft Word is very flexible and versatile application and you can use      this in writing letters, correspondences, communications, and other note      taking applications. You can also use this to write your reports, blogs,      newsletters, and other applications that you will find very useful.</li>
<li>For your project template, go to file first and      choose Project Gallery. Browse through the templates available for both      home and business users. To select the templates, click “Open.” Upon      opening your new document, you may experiment with various colors, fonts,      and layout and choose the style that best suits your preference.</li>
